But even Elliot Brown couldn’t imagine what would happen to one of their watches after an 11-month trip around the world mounted to a Clipper Race yacht. This brave Elliot Brown watch (plus the yacht’s crew!) endured punishing storms, freezing cold temperatures, corrosive saltwater, waves as high as 90ft and wind speeds up to 86mph.
Incredibly, the watch survived! And here is the before and after picture to prove it.
